We had a conversation in class regarding Vitamins & Medication I'm super lucky that I do not take any regular medication & I haven't taken any medication for over 20 years My weak point in my body is my throat, I had Tonsillitis when I was 19 years old & I now look after this area, if I get stressed or run down it goes straight to my throat & I use Vitamin C daily & when needed Honey & Lemon & rest is the key My second area of issue is my Knee, I have had issues since I was 16 years old, postural imbalances & muscle weakness contribute to this issue but my job in fitness keeps my muscles & body strong - I also use kinesiology tape to manage the pain when needed We all know the NHS is overwhelmed & this is not a recent thing, I have spent thousands of pounds on physio for my knee over the years to keep me doing everything in my daily life with ease, we have to find alternative things to help our ailments I had an allergic reaction 6 years ago to Shellfish (despite eating crab etc since I was a child!... Your body changes over time) & the Doctor was sadly not interested so I found remedy from a Natural Allergy Therapist Kinesiologist to balance out my body system along with other intolerances I had I watch many interviews from doctors & health professionals to stay up to date with everything fitness & health & they all say the same... EXERCISE & DIET, we simply need to move daily. ... You don't need to run a Marathon every day, just move!! & fuel our body for our daily activity, if you know you have eaten a donut that is OK - just not a daily recurrent ๐ค It is also never too late to start, exercising on a weekly basis for the Over 60s can improve their cognitive level.
